Rise & Shine ABA is seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians (BT) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to join our team on Long Island, NY.

We are a home-based ABA therapy company committed to improving the lives of children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Our mission is to provide high-quality, individualized ABA therapy services to families across New York City and Long Island.

Position: Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Employment Type: Part-Time
Location: Long Island, NY (Hempstead, Jericho, Huntington, and surrounding areas)
Pay Rate: $23–$26 per hour (based on experience and certification)

Responsibilities:

  • Implement ABA therapy programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions in client homes on Long Island
  • Collect and record data on client progress accurately
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and families
  • Follow individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
  • RBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus
  • Reliable transportation to travel to client homes on Long Island, NY
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be available for part-time hours (flexible scheduling)
  • Background check required
