Career Development Workshop Series- Requesting Reasonable Accommodations

FreeThe DOR Northeast Branch is proud to offer a series of career development workshops designed to enhance job search skills, provide tools and resources, and develop key skills for those who are seeking employment. Individuals are welcome to attend the entire series of workshops or attend workshops individually.
5/26/2022- REQUESTING REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS:
A reasonable accommodation is a modification or adjustment to a job, the work environment, or the way things are usually done during the hiring process. These modifications enable an individual with a disability to have an equal opportunity not only to get a job, but successfully perform their job tasks to the same extent as people without disabilities. This workshop discusses how to request reasonable accommodations from an employer.
