This Job Strategy Group session introduces artificial intelligence in a simple, practical way for job seekers.

AI tools can feel overwhelming at first, but they can also help with everyday job search tasks when used carefully. This session will provide a beginner-friendly overview of what AI is, how it works, and how job seekers can use it responsibly.

You will explore how AI can help you:

• Understand basic AI tools and what they can do
• Get ideas for resumes, cover letters, and interviews
• Practice job search communication
• Organize your thoughts and next steps
• Use AI without copying generic answers or losing your own voice

No prior AI experience is required. This session is introductory and designed for beginners.

What to expect

• A brief, low-pressure networking activity at the beginning

• Live demonstrations of basic AI prompts
