Description
The Specialisterne USA Academy continues our partnership with The HG Foundation to upskill and empower autistic learners to launch careers in tech throughout 2026-2027!
This year, the Academy is launching an exciting new model to maximize success for program participants, including:
● MORE flexibility! Upcoming cohorts will offer a less time-intensive experience with learners expecting a moderate weekly commitment of around 20–30 hours.
● NEW technical skills! In addition to learning core IT Fundamentals, the program will now also help learners build foundational skills in Artificial Intelligence.
Additionally, graduates will finish the program with an applied technical project designed to simulate real-world tasks and challenges to help showcase their new skills to employers!

Requirements
- Be an autistic adult (18+)
- Be authorized to work lawfully in the United States
- Be located anywhere in the United States and able to participate in live sessions scheduled in Eastern Time (ET)
- Be available to commit approximately 20–30 hours per week for 8 weeks
- Have a high school diploma (or equivalent) prior to the program start
- Be interested in learning about tech
- Be motivated to pursue employment in technology-related roles
- A computer or a laptop
- Reliable internet access
- A quiet, suitable place to learn
