Word Basics 3: Basic Resumes with Word

An online class on Microsoft Word for beginners with some experience with Word. Practice your Word skills while creating a simple resume.

In this class you will:

• Format a simple resume
• Practice advanced formatting using Ruler Tools and Format Painter
• Use Grammar and Spell check tools
• Practice using Word’s built-in resume templates
• Save documents in other formats such as PDF

Upon completion of this class students will be able to create an organized simple resume and access resume templates with additional style options.

Pre-requisites:

• A basic working knowledge of Word is required.
• Keyboarding and mouse skills are required.
