Motivational Interviewing (MI) is an evidence-based, patient-centered, guiding communication style designed to help patients address behaviors that are detrimental to their health.
This webinar will focus on the basics of MI in assessment and treatment. The facilitator will provide concepts and techniques on ways to quickly engage clients and increase their interest in changing.
There will be an opportunity for Q&A to discuss case examples. Participants will be encouraged to ask questions about how this principle can be employed in multiple practice settings.
