SUMMARY:Accessibility Training for Employers
DESCRIPTION:Free training program designed to support employers in creating inclusive workplaces. \nThis is the first of a three-part training program and tied to the Accessible Navigation to Employment (ANTE) program. ANTE is a program designed to help bridge the gap between job seekers within the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community and employers by providing valuable resources and training. The ANTE employer training is designed to support employers to become familiar with accessible communication best practices\, tools\, and strategies for creating inclusive workplaces. \nDuring this session\, delivered in partnership with ODEN\, you will have the opportunity to explore disability types and terminology\, learn how your attitudes and behaviours can impact others and what can be done to remove barriers. You will also learn how your organization can participate in the ANTE program and access the balance of the training.
