DESCRIPTION:About this event\n\n\n\n\nShaping Accessible Employment Practices is a four-part learning series for employers that is designed to enhance skills and build confidence in shaping accessible recruitment and job retention practices. \nThese workshops will help employers understand the key elements to accessing the virtually untapped talent pool of persons with disabilities. Participants will also understand how to develop long term strategies towards increasing participation of persons with disabilities in the workplace. \n  \nAbout Module #1 : Employment and Disability- Building the Foundation \nEmployment and Disability- Building the Foundation is the first module of the four-part series. This session will focus on helping you understand your role in supporting accommodations which can shape accessible employment experiences for everyone\, from recruitment to retirement. In this interactive session participants will review the essential components to building inclusion and accessibility for employees with disabilities.
